Band of the Week: Flood of Red
The only sad thing about finding out about amazing bands from other continents is just that, they are from other continents. They tend to not make it out to your side of the map often. Scottish rockers Flood of Red however, have already blown away crowds in a grip of countries far from their own, played major festivals including South By Southwest, and toured with bands such as Enter Shikari. Did I mention all this has happened before Flood of Red has even released a full-length record?
The release of their debut record is guaranteed to be one of the best things that will happen to music in 2009 judging by the critical acclaim of their 2007 EP Lost in the Light. If you enjoy bands like Saosin, I promise you will enjoy Flood of Red.
