Band of the Week: The Dollyrots

The Dollyrots were formed on what I call the Punk Rock American Dream: quitting college and jumping in a van. This dream has crossed the mind of every young punk musician in the nation, but fortunately for punk music, The Dollyrots acted on it. The Dollyrots have been featured on TV shows and even a KOHL’s commercial, but The Dollyrots sadly are still an “up-and-coming band”. The great part about it is I can still see a Dollyrots show for $7; the sad part is that Because I’m Awesome is notably absent from all music charts reflecting record sales.
