Anyone who ever feels like complaining about the current music scene should give The Gaslight Anthem a couple of spins. If my faith in the current state of independent music ever needed renewing, The Gaslight Anthem sure did the thing. The best way I could describe them is Springsteen meets Tiger Army. It is fun to be part of day and age where records like The ’59 Sound are coming out. Anyone who goes out and buys that record will thank themselves, it is worth every penny.
