Band of the Week: The Matches
This week is a tribute to one of the greatest and most original sounding bands that has been on the scene for the past while, The Matches. It is a sad fact that The Matches are calling it quits after years of doing their thing. On Tuesday fans will get a final serving of the music they have loved with the release of digital-only record number four of The Matches catalog titled the Matches album 4, unreleased; graphics? title? or not needed?. The band will also be playing two California farewell shows, August 22 at Troubadour, and August 23 at The Fillmore.
