Liam and Me Can Have my Firstborn Child in Exchange for More Songs

I first saw Liam and Me on accident. I was in Hoboken, NJ, and had showed up for the Action Action show with The High Court (who turned out to be awful, btw). The show was stolen that night, however, by an extremely catchy indie pop band with a gold microphone. Liam and Me was the only band that night that didn’t take themselves ultra-seriously, and the music that came out of their amplifiers was tight and quite danceworthy.

Finally, a year later, the Philadelphia quartet is planning releasing its debut album, and in preparation has already released the single Say It Out Loud. (The accompanying music video is below). Expect to see a full album review here when Liam and Me finally releases their LP, and until then you can join me in offering exhorbitant gifts to encourage them to hurry up. I’m pretty sure a small child would be sufficient.

P.S. I can’t decide if my favorite thing about these guys is how they remind me of the 1980s or how his dance moves remind me of Dan Keyes’s from Young Love. Side step, side step, yeah!
